To change the starter motor, un-attach the battery negative connection and lift up the engine under covers. Disassemble the starter assembly by disconnecting the starter connector, removing the nut to disconnect the wire of the starter and removing the two bolts. Install the starter assembly, hook-up the starter wire, reconnect the terminal cover and reconnect the battery.
