  • Q: How to service the rear Wheel Stud on 2007 Toyota Avalon?
A: You should begin the rear wheel stud maintenance sequence by removing the wheel followed by separating the rear disc brake caliper unit on the left-wheel side then extracting the rear disc from its position. The removal of rear wheel left studs requires a temporary install of 2 washers and 2 nuts according to the illustration. You should use Special Service Tool: 09628-10011 together with a screwdriver or suitable alternative to maintain stability of the hub & bearing assembly while disassembling the rear wheel left stud. Reinstall the rear disc together with the rear disc brake caliper assembly from the left-hand side and the rear wheel.
