  • Q: How to service the front Wheel Stud on 2007 Toyota Avalon?
    A: To work on the front wheel stud you must detach the front wheel and isolate the left-hand side brake caliper assembly while taking out the front disc. You need to put two washers and nuts temporarily on the front wheel left hub studs during this process. Screw the left wheel stud with Special Service Tool: 09628-10011 by using a screwdriver during the front wheel stud removal process. Put a washer and nut on the new front wheel left hub stud before securing it using the Special Service Tool and screwdriver to clamp the front wheel during nut tightening. Reposition and tighten the front disc brake components on the left side beginning with the front wheel followed by installing the front disc and the front disc brake caliper assembly. Use a torque of 103 N m (1.050 kgf cm, 76 ft. lbf).
