- Q: How to remove and install the rear #2 Car Speakers assembly from the LH side on 2006 Toyota Prius?A: The first step to remove the rear #2 speaker assembly from the LH side requires disconnecting the negative battery cable terminal for a minimum of 90 seconds to avoid activating Air Bags and seat belt pretensioners. Remove the rear door inside handle bezel LH along with the door pull handle and both the rear door armrest base panel upper LH and rear door trim board sub-assembly LH before unclipping the three claws to detach the rear No. 2 speaker assembly. The installation process starts by applying the 3 claws to the rear No. 2 speaker assembly before reattaching the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH, the rear door armrest base panel upper LH and the door pull handle and the rear door inside handle bezel LH. To complete the process attach the cable to the negative battery terminal while executing system initialization because disconnecting and reconnecting the cable may require it.
