Begin the service by detaching the front wheel followed by disconnecting the LH side front speed sensor connector and removing the resin clip and four clamp bolts securing the sensor harness to the steering knuckle and upper arm. Complete the procedure by discharging the bolt which fastens the speed sensor to the steering knuckle being cautious to safeguard the sensor tip and installation hole from contaminants. Install the front speed sensor onto the steering knuckle by using a bolt but maintain the installation hole and sensor tip free from contamination while applying 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf) torque. The sensor harness must be fastened to the steering knuckle and upper arm through combination of resin clip and 4 clamp bolts while maintaining a torque at 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) and refraining from twisting the sensor wire when installing. After connecting the speed sensor connector you can reinstall the front wheel while reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
