The first task is to remove the generator assembly followed by the fan and generator V belt then the generator assembly. The water pump assembly should be detached with the removal of six bolts and one O-ring from the timing chain cover. You should install a fresh O-ring into the timing chain cover before putting the water pump in place with 6 bolts that need A bolt torque to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 inch lbs.) and B bolt torque to 11 Nm (112 kgf-cm, 8 ft. lbs.). Reinstall the generator assembly afterward before adding engine coolant to the system and verifying coolant leakages.
