    A: The service and repair of the back door support starts with the unpacking of the back door stay sub-assembly from the LH side by removing bolt A from the door panel using one hand to support the back door while also separating bolts B and the stay from the body panel. The installation method is symmetrical; insert the stay by using three bolts where bolt A should be tightened to 22.0 Nm (224 kgf-cm, 16 ft.-lbf) and bolt B to achieve 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 ft.-lbf). Before cutting the back door stay sub-assembly LH disposal part A and B, set the vise to maintain horizontal alignment while pulling out the piston rod. Trim the gas by cutting between points A and B using a metal saw yet remember safety glasses and to cover the cutting area because the gas lacks smell or color yet has no toxicity.
