The first step to replace the back door stay includes the removal of bolt A from the door panel by holding the back door because it requires support. Detach bolt B and stay from the body panel while following the removal of bolt B from the door panel. After positioning the stay you must complete installation by fastening the bolts while torquing bolt A to 22.0 Nm (224 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf) and bolt B to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf). Both right-hand side technical processes mirror those of the left-hand side.
