In order to service the thermostat, drain the engine coolant and take off the V-bank cover. Disassemble the radiator outlet and remove the water inlet, the thermostat and the gasket. Check thermostat in warm water; when not to the specifications change it. Make sure that the valves are operating correctly and installed, and that there are no leaks.
