    A: The Knock Sensor service requires cylinder head removal followed by unclipping the heater water inlet hose. Service of the Knock Sensor begins with disconnecting the water outlet pipe N0.1 by first removing the 3 bolts holding it in place and then detached 4 wire harness clamps. Proceed with disconnecting both knock sensor connectors before removing two associated bolts and sensors. Install the 2 knock sensors with their 2 bolts while positioning the sensor center to rest 15 degrees from the bolt center and torque it to 20 Nm (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf). Use the 2 knock sensor connectors after then install the water outlet pipe N0.1 with its 3 bolts secured to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf.cm, 80 in.lbf) and restore the 4 wire harness clamps. When installing the cylinder head you should begin by reattaching the heater water inlet hose.
