Remove the front wheels to a straight-ahead position before taking out steering wheel cover lower No.2 and No.3 followed by the horn button assembly and the steering wheel assembly using Special Service Tool: 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-05021). Begin by taking out the steering column cover lower and the steering column cover after which you should disconnect the spiral cable sub-assembly and steering sensor connector while pressing both claws to detach the components. Establish the new steering sensor and the connector should be reconnected. The Spiral cable sub-assembly requires replacement if it shows scratches, cracks, dents or chipping.
