  A: Service and repair operations on the throttle body begin with draining engine coolant from the system. Service the throttle body by disconnecting the MAF meter connector and VSV hose for CCV and then removing the 3 bolts to extract the air cleaner inlet, air cleaner assembly together with MAF meter as a single unit. Start by disconnecting the VSV connector for EVAP as well as the VSV hose for EVAP and PCV hose and then remove the air cleaner hose. The throttle body removal requires the disconnection of throttle position sensor and control motor connector and the 5 hose detachment followed by removal of the 4 bolts and bracket alongside the throttle body from the intake manifold with its dedicated gasket.
