  A: The motorcycle service begins with compressor clutch disassembly. Start by using Special Service Tool: 07112-76060 together with a socket wrench to remove the shaft bolt from the pressure plate. Then put on Special Service Tool: 07112-66040 and simultaneously use the two tools with a socket wrench to take off the pressure plate. The following step is to extract the shims. Start by taking off the snap ring with snap ring pliers before lifting off the rotor with a plastic hammer strike while protecting the pulley from damage. To remove the stator follow these steps: disconnect its connector and use snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring while taking out the stator components including the 2 bolts and screw as well as wire harness and lock sensor assembly.
