2005 Toyota RAV4 Blower Motor Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the blower motor on 2005 Toyota RAV4?
A: Begin the blower motor servicing process by taking out the glove compartment door through connector removal followed by inside side pushing until door removal for screw removal from the door. Cut the instrument panel using the guide and perform face filing and smoothing of the cut area afterward. Start by detaching all circuits that connect the blower resistor to the blower motor then release the harness clamps before disconnecting the air inlet servomotor connector. Pull out the blower unit once you extract both screws along with two nuts. Remove the blower unit from its position and secure it back with 2 screws and 2 nuts before connecting blower resistor and connectors to the blower motor and harness clamps and the air inlet servomotor connector. Install the glove compartment door reinforcement by using the two screws before reattaching the glove compartment door.
