    A: The first step to change the cigarette lighter assembly requires removing the shift lever knob sub-assembly (M/T transaxle) then the instrument cluster finish panel assembly CTR. Start by removing the cigarette lighter cover through the process of releasing its two fitting claws. The cigarette lighter assembly removal starts by uninstalling the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly. Turn the socket according to the provided direction until the claw releases from its position where it meets the cigarette lighter bezel stay and push the socket towards the room side. Push the socket towards the room side while aligning its position with the notch of the cigarette lighter bezel stay to remove the cigarette lighter assembly. To install the cigarette lighter assembly first position the socket along the notch of the cigarette lighter bezel stay then firmly push the assembly into its place while mounting the cigarette lighter knob and element assembly.
