To change the expansion valve, drain out the refrigerant, unscrew the liquid tube and suction tube and unscrew the valve with a 5.0 mm hexagon wrench. Install the new valve using lubricated O-rings, fix it, screw the hoses back together and fill the system with 460 +/-,30 g of refrigerant and check it against leaks.
