The alternator replacement requires following these steps on the generator assembly: disconnect the wire harness followed by bolt removal and wire harness stay removal after which the connector of the generator assembly should be disconnected then remove the terminal cap with its nut and disconnect the wire harness at terminal B. The next step includes removing two bolts and a wire harness clamp bracket from the generator assembly before taking out two bolts that secure the generator assembly. Position the generator assembly while aligning both bolts before torquing them to 43 N.m (438 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf).
