  A: The first step to replace a charcoal canister assembly requires disconnecting the connector using deep insertion followed by pinching Portion A while extracting the connector. Uninstall the 2 fuel tank vent hoses and purge hose from their respective locations as the next step. When handling the fuel emission tube first remove the fuel tube connector clip using your fingers and inspect the connector for contamination which may harm the O-ring seal and take appropriate cleaning action. Keep all tools away from the installation process while also avoiding any bending or twisting motion on the nylon tube and by covering the connector with vinyl or plastic. Gently push-pull the pipe and connector to dislodge them if they do not move easily. Remove the charcoal canister after unfastening its three bolts. The new charcoal canister assembly gets secured with three bolts torqued to 19 N.m (193 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf), followed by fuel emission tube, purge hose and two fuel tank vent hose connections before completing it with the connector.
