2004 Toyota Highlander Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Cabin Air Filter on 2004 Toyota Highlander?
A: Begin by opening the glove compartment door frame then unclip its 4 set of locking claws to take off the cooler cover No.1. Remove the blower assembly air filter sub-assembly from its position. You should first extract the air refiner element from its slot in the filter case. Climb to the glove compartment but pull open its door to release the 4 claw-mounts that secure the cooler cover No.1. Remove the cooler cover No.1 before moving to the next step. Complete the process by reinstalling the air filter sub-assembly to the blower assembly then fasten the cooler cover No.1 with the 4 claws.
