  A: The water pump replacement starts by extracting the engine under cover from the right-hand side before draining the coolant. Begin by unfastening the fan along with the generator V-belt then disconnect and unscrew components of the generator assembly starting from the wire clamp separation from the wire clip on the rectifier end frame followed by removing the rubber cap and nut which disconnects the alternator wire and disconnecting the alternator connector and removing the two fastening bolts. To address this step you need to remove six bolts, the water pump as well as an O-ring from the water pump assembly. The installation process includes using a new O-ring on the timing chain cover while installing the water pump using the six bolts which must be torqued to 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 inch lbs.) for Bolt A and 11 Nm (113 kgf-cm, 8 ft. lbs.) for Bolt B.
