  A: One should start radiator cooling fan motor service by taking out the No. 1 cooling fan after removing the LH engine under cover followed by upper radiator hose disconnect then reservoir removal and disconnection of both No. 1 and No. 2 cooling fan connectors to release two bolts from the No. 1 cooling fan assembly. The service begins with disconnecting the No. 2 cooling fan connector and then removing the three bolts to extract the No. 2 cooling fan. The first task for disassembly requires you to uninstall the No. 1 cooling fan by detaching its nut followed by removing three screws and disconnecting the lead wire and connector holder from the fan shroud of the No. 2 cooling fan.
