• Q: How to remove and install a windshield on 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser?

  A: You must first take off the front door trims before using a screwdriver to uninstall both side assist grip plugs plus screws. Take a screwdriver to remove the front pillar garnish parts on both sides of the vehicle. You can easily take out the sun visors once you unscrew screws inside plastic caps and disconnect electrical connectors for installation. Take off the double visor by unscrewing it first and then taking out its support unit. To dismantle the overhead console box you should unscrew the bolt and use a screwdriver to disconnect it along with its electrical connection. Place the ventilator louvers on top of the cowl and put in position the hood-to-cowl seal while tightening the wiper arms nuts to 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf). Put back the inner rear view mirror and front side of the roof headlining before adding assist grips, overhead console, holders, double visors, sun visors, front pillar trims, and front assist grip onto the front door opening trims.
