Service on the Throttle Body Assy (2AZ-FE) begins with removing the air cleaner cap alongside the air cleaner hose and then proceeds with removing the throttle body assembly. The service requires disconnecting the throttle body assembly connector and vacuum hose while removing both water by-pass hoses. Sever the throttle body assembly from the intake manifold by removing its four bolts then discard the throttle body gasket. After placing a new gasket on the intake manifold you should bolt the throttle body assembly to it with four bolts and torque them to 30 N.m (305 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf). Reinstallation requires attaching the vacuum hose and throttle body assembly connector and two water by-pass hoses. The process ends by adding coolant followed by leak inspection of engine coolant.
