How to service and repair the throttle body on 2002 Toyota Camry?

Start the throttle body servicing and repair operation by draining coolant first. The air cleaner cap together with the hose should be removed first followed by taking out the throttle body assembly through disconnecting the throttle body assembly connector along with the vacuum hose and two water by-pass hoses. Remove the throttle body gasket through the removal of four bolts that secure the assembly to the intake manifold. To perform the installation fit a new gasket to the intake manifold before installing the throttle body assembly with four bolts which need to be torqued at 30 N.m (305 kgf.cm, 22 ft.lbf). You should install both water by-pass hoses along with the throttle body assembly connector and the vacuum hose. During the last step add coolant before performing a leak test for engine coolant.
