How to service and repair the radiator on 2003 Toyota 4Runner?

Service and repair operations for the radiator start by draining the engine coolant from the system. Begin radiator service by removing the radiator support upper together with its 11 clips. Migration of the fan shroud starts with disconnection of reserve tank hose and radiator hose No. 1 then oil cooler inlet hose and oil cooler outlet hose and radiator hose No. 2 from the radiator followed by removing the 3 bolts to detach the fan shroud that temporarily goes to the engine room. Remove the radiator assembly through the process of unfastening its 4 bolts. To detach radiator support No. 2 you must remove its three bolts first. Later remove support No. 1 by taking out its 4 bolts. Remove the 4 radiator support No. 1 bush as the next step. The radiator support tabs should be inserted through the radiator service holes before tightening the 4 bolts at 18 Nm torque (184 kgf-cm or 13 ft. lbs.). Secure the fan shroud through slots by sliding the tabs and fasten it with three bolts which require torque at 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.). The last step is to add engine coolant before checking for leakage points.
