You must pull out the release cylinder after removing its two bolts. Disassembly requires first pulling out the boot with push rod and then taking the boot from the push rod. Apply compressed air through the cylinder to pull out the piston and spring while handling the piston carefully with a cloth so it does not jump out and brake fluid avoids spreading. Next, remove the bleeder plug.
