How to replace the rear spoiler on 2002 Toyota Highlander?

In order to change the rear spoiler, one has to remove the back window panel trim and the rear spoiler through removing the bolts and the nut. Warm up the surfaces using a heat light, and scrap the surfaces off using piano wire. Wipe out any spots and use a fresh adhesive tape and install the new spoiler with great care.
