Service of the crankshaft position sensor requires engine under cover removal as the first step. The first step involves disconnecting the crankshaft position sensor connector as you remove the bolt which secures the crankshaft position sensor. During installation position the crankshaft position sensor before using the bolt to fix it while applying a torque of 7.8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in.lbf). To complete the service reconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector followed by engine under cover reinstallation.
