The drive belt tension should be adjusted through the adjusting bolt to maintain a new belt tension between 160 lb and 25 lb or a used belt tension between 100 lb and 25 lb. To finish the replacement the last step involves the tightening of the idle pulley lock nut to 39 Nm (400 kg.cm, 29 ft.lb) while reinstalling the PS pump drive belt and restoring the engine under cover.
