Service and repair of the Radiator Cooling Fan Motor requires these procedures: first disconnect the relay block from the battery clamp to unplug the No.1 cooling fan before disconnecting its connector and removing the two securing bolts with 5.0 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.) torque. The process to uninstall the No.2 cooling fan requires removing engine coolant followed by upper radiator hose removal from the radiator and cooling fan connector detaching and 3 bolt removal at the same torque value. When disassembling the component remove the clip and fan while being cautious to not distress the motor shaft or scratch the component; in assembly install the new clip with its opening on the fan directed opposite the protrusion. The first step involves breaking the connection on the fan motor agent and unscrewing three fasteners that detach the fan motor assembly.
