2000 Toyota RAV4 Heater Core Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the heater core on 2000 Toyota RAV4?
A: Repair and service of the heater core begins by removing the heater unit before proceeding to remove the heater radiator by removing its 2 screws and defroster nozzle then removing the 2 screws and clamp. The next step involves pulling out the heater radiator followed by the removal of its 2 screws while you detach 2 clamps and 2 heater radiator pipes. Be sure to retrieve the 2 O-rings from the heater radiator pipes because you will not use them for reinstallation. The installation process should follow the opposite order of what was used for removal.
