Connect the heater control cables by setting the air inlet selector to "RECIRC," the temperature control selector to "MAX. COOL," and the mode selector to "FACE." For standard heater models, adjust the air inlet control cable by setting the air inlet damper control lever to "RECIRC," connecting the inner cable to the lever pin, and clamping the outer cable while lightly pulling it in the direction indicated. Adjust the air mix control cable by setting the air mix damper control lever to "MAX. COOL," connecting the inner cable to the lever pin, and clamping the outer cable similarly. Adjust the defroster control cable by pulling the air inlet control link to "FACE," connecting the control cable, and locking the clamp. Finally, install the combination meter, the cluster finish panel, the front passenger Air Bag assembly, and the cluster finish panel again.
