Service and repair operations on the heater control assembly start with full disassembly of its components. Begin by removing the heater control cables through a screwdriver operation which opens the cable clamp claw and disconnects the external cable while using tape over the screwdriver tip. The second step involves extracting the inner cable which exists inside the heater control assembly. To access the components of two-way flow heater models start by releasing the connector clamp before removing the screw and heater switch. The reverse sequence of cleaning operations needs to be followed during assembly. To access the heater control assembly inside the center cluster begin by pulling out the cluster finish panel followed by disconnecting the center cluster switch by removing its knob and unclipping its two mounting claws. The lens removal procedure should be followed by returning parts in a reverse order of disassembly.

Use a screwdriver to release the claw and remove the A/C amplifier.

Remove the front passenger airbag assembly.

First, pull out the 2 knobs using pliers, covering them with a cloth to avoid damage. Then, remove the 2 screws.

Temporarily install the heater control assembly.
