The first step to remove the Tire Pressure Warning Valve and Transmitter involves wheel removal from both front and rear parts of the vehicle. First remove the valve cap then core to vent air from the tire. Remove the nut along with the washer that protects the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter. After removing enough air from the tire take out the transmitter while it descends within the tire. The removal process starts with the usage of a tire remover shoe but users must be watchful about sensor damage that might result when the shoe touches the tire bead. After removing the upper side bead you should extract the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter out of the tire by taking off its lower side bead. You should completely remove the grommet and washer along with the nut from the assembly even when the grommet itself does not appear to have any defects.

First step to eliminate the Tire Pressure Warning Valve and Transmitter requires the uninstallation of front and rear wheels and following steps afterwards. The second step involves taking off both valve cap and core to drain air from the tire. After sufficient tire pressure reduction you should detach the nut and washer that protects the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter so it can fall into the tire cavity. The shoe of a tire remover should be used to disengage the bead but extra caution is needed to protect the sensor from the tire bead interference. Remove the tire bead on the upper side followed by extraction of the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter from the tire space before releasing the lower tire bead. The complete removal of the nut together with the washer and grommet set should be performed even when there is no grommet damage.

It is necessary to remove the lithium battery from the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter before disposal. Proper disposal of the battery remains essential. A screwdriver enables removal of the back cover to reveal both the battery and base board that remains covered by silicone resin. The battery removal process requires the user to disconnect the two electrical terminals attaching the battery to the base board.

Ensure there is no foreign matter on the washer and nut.

Inspect the tire and confirm that the actual tire pressures are displayed in the Data List, and register the transmitter ID as required.

Check for cracks or damage; if any are found, replace the grommet along with the washer and nut.

Take off the nut and washer securing the sensor, allowing it to drop inside the tire.

Remove the nut and washer securing the tire pressure warning valve and allow the valve sensor to drop inside the tire.

Pry off the back cover and cut the two terminals connecting the battery to the base board, disposing of the battery properly.

Ensure that the tire bead and tool do not interfere with the sensor.

Carefully cut the 2 terminals that connect the battery to the base board while removing the battery.

Take out the inner grommet, checking for any cracks or damage; if necessary, replace the grommet, washer, and nut.
