    Q:
How to Service and Repair the Heater Core in a Rear Heating Unit on Toyota 4Runner? Posted by Customer
    A:
Engine coolant draining marks the first step of rear heater unit repair work but technicians should not empty all the coolant from the system. The first service stage requires frontend seats removal together with the center console box followed by floor carpet rearward adjustment. During installation position the hose clip according to the provided illustration before removing the water hoses. First disconnect the rear heater duct by removing its bolt and screw and duct before removing the rear heater control assembly. To unscrew the rear heater duct start by disconnecting its connectors then take out the three screws which fasten the heater unit. Rear/transverse engine vehicles employ the exact reverse sequence during installation of removed components.
