Place protective tape on the symbol emblem before using a moulding remover to peel away the double-sided tape and taking out the emblem without causing harm to the vehicle body. Put protective tape around the No. 2 back door name plate before using the moulding remover to peel off double-sided tape and remove the name plate with caution to prevent body harm. The same method must be done for the No. 4 back door name plate and the back door name plate where you apply protective tape before using the moulding remover to remove each component safely. Firstly for removing the front door name plate protect it with tape and use the moulding remover to extract double-sided tape followed by gentle removal of the name plate while watching out for vehicle body damage.

Begin your installation process of the exterior name plate on the sedan with surface preparation of its attachment area. Heating the double-sided adhesive tape on the luggage compartment door panel to 40 to 60 °C (104 to 140 °F) for 1 to 2 minutes with an infrared light will allow you to remove it using a shop rag when hot until all adhesive traces disappear. Clean the surface with a non-residue solvent while positioning the 2 pins and place a new symbol emblem in a room above 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) or heat both the panel and emblem to between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius (68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit) before installing them. The same temperature conditions should apply when cleaning and repeating this process for the No. 2 and No. 6 luggage compartment door name plates. When installing the radiator grille emblem keep 4 claws in position to fasten it. Connecting front bumper cover requires engagement of 6 claws and 2 fog light connectors for vehicles with this equipment but if no front spoiler exists users should install 6 clips and 2 screw grommets alongside 7 screws and 3 bolts and remove protective tape. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal while applying torque of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).
