Users must tape the screwdriver tip to extract the switches backward. The first removal step should include taking out the heater control knobs after which the next step involves removing the heater control cable. The users can disconnect the blower speed control switch by unscrewing it with 2 screws followed by pulling out the switch along with carrying out the same procedure with the mode switch. Proceed by removing the heater control name sheet starting with screw removal from two locations and continuing with a screwdriver's use to unlock the 4 claws securing the sheet while keeping the screwdriver tip taped. The reverse procedure of disassembly defines the reassembly process.

The first step for manual A/C control assembly service and repair starts with removing the A/C switch along with the air intake switch and defogger switch through screwdriver claw release moving backwards on each switch after taping the screwdriver tip. The first step of repair involves removing the control knobs and afterward the control cable for the heater unit. The first step involves removing 2 screws to take out the blower speed control switch which then needs to be pulled out from its position. After that perform the same procedure on the mode switch. Begin by removing the heater control name sheet while beginning with removing two screws first and using a screwdriver with taped tip to release four claws attaching the sheet to the vehicle. Disassembly procedures need to be followed in the opposite sequence during reassembly.

The heater control name sheet along with the three knobs will be removed after taking out two screws using a screwdriver to release four claws. First disconnect the bulb followed by bulb holder removal and use two screws to pull out the heater blower switch. Start by disconnecting the heater switch through the removal of its two screws and drawing out the switch. The air mix damper control cable requires users to set the temperature control dial to "MAX" and "COOL" before they use a screwdriver to open the outer cable clamp claws for disconnecting the outer cable followed by control cable removal. To install the air mix damper control cable start by inserting the inner cable into the control lever before pushing the outer cable to clamp it. Embed the heater switch into position with two screws and then fasten the heater blower switch with its two screws before reconnecting the bulb holder and finally installing the bulb. During the installation phase use the two screws to install the heater control name sheet before verifying the claw fitting is secure. To finish the installation step manually place the knobs and the A/C switch together with the defogger switch.

Ensure not to bend the cable during this process and avoid moving the air mix knob until the cable outer is clamped securely.

Begin by removing the Air Conditioning Panel Sub-Assy.

Begin by removing the Cowl Side Trim LH and RH, the Front Door Inside Scuff Plate LH and RH, No.2 Lower Cover, Glove Compartment, No.1 Lower Instrument Panel, LH Lower Instrument Panel, and Center Cluster Finish Panel.

Install the Air Conditioning Control Bulb back into the heater control base sub-assembly.

Set the temperature control dial to "MAX. COOL," attach the cable connector to the air mix link pin on the left side of the A/C unit, and clamp the cable outer on without pushing or pulling it.
