Wiper Switch

The wiper switch removal process starts with wheeled front alignment and negative battery terminal cable removal followed by ninety seconds of waiting before Air Bag activation. The process begins with removal of the lower No.3 steering wheel cover which is followed by removal of the lower No.2 steering wheel cover preceding the steering pad. Steer toward removing the steering wheel assembly together with the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly, lower steering column cover and upper steering column cover from the vehicle. Pull the two connectors from the windshield wiper switch assembly while disengaging the claw before removing the assembly with extreme caution to avoid damaging the claw.

Install the upper steering column cover, followed by the lower steering column cover.

Remove the front upper console box, No. 2 switch hole base, console box carpet, and the front console box assembly for both 2WD and 4WD.
