The removal of the rear coil spring requires the first step to be removal of the rear wheel. The process begins with supporting the rear axle housing before removing the bolt for shock absorber assembly rear LH separation from the rear axle. First disconnect the 2 rear brake tubes from both flexible hoses by using a union nut wrench while placing a container beneath the brake fluid drain points. Detach the two clips followed by removing both flexible hoses. Lower the rear axle housing while maintaining care of brake line and parking brake cable and extract the coil spring rear LH during this process.

You should begin by removing the rear wheel when you want to uninstall the coil spring. Support the rear axle housing before you remove the bolt to divide the shock absorber assembly rear LH from the rear axle. A union nut wrench enables the secure disconnection of 2 rear brake tubes to each flexible hose. The draining brake fluid should be collected in a suitable container. Disconnect the 2 flexible hoses after taking off their 2 clips. To prevent brake line and parking brake cable damage during the process lower the rear axle housing while you remove the coil spring rear LH.

Fit the coil spring rear LH into the rear axle housing, ensuring the lower end fits into the gap of the spring lower seat.

Remove the front shock absorber cushion retainer, cushion, and suspension support sub-assembly.

Reinstall the rear wheel and tighten it to a torque of 112 Nm (1,137 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.).

Support the rear axle housing and remove the bolt to separate the shock absorber assembly rear LH from the rear axle.

Fill the reservoir with brake fluid, bleed the brake line, check the fluid level in the reservoir, and inspect for any brake fluid leakage.
