    Q:
How to Install the Parking Assist Distance Sensor on Toyota Tundra? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin installation of the Parking Assist Distance Sensor with step one which involves placing the No. 1 Ultrasonic Sensor Retainer while checking that the keyhole correctly meets the protrusion as you set the bumper apart from damage. The installation of the ultrasonic sensor begins with clamping it into position through the two claws. Start by putting on the front bumper cover which belongs to the resin type bumper then move to the front bumper bar followed by front bumper cover sub-assembly for steel type bumpers. The production of front end panels needs to occur starting with resin type bumper right and left panels followed by steel type bumper right and left panels. The final task involves mounting front fender splash shield sub-assembly components to the steel type bumper right and left sides. When ready to reconnect the cable it should be attached to the negative battery terminal while some systems might need initialization before the fog light adjustment process.

    Q:
How to Remove the Parking Assist Distance Sensor on Toyota Tundra? Posted by Customer
    A:
The initial step for Parking Assist Distance Sensor removal consists of disconnecting the negative battery cable alongside a minimum 90-second wait period after turning off engine power to permit navigation system recording of memory and settings. Start by removing the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH and RH for the Steel Type Bumper until the front end panel LH and RH from both Steel and Resin Type Bumpers is completed. The assembly of front bumper cover sub-unit as well as front bumper bar needs removal from Steel Type Bumper installations together with the front bumper cover removal from Resin Type Bumper units. Use the lever to open the claw on No. 1 ultrasonic sensor so you can detach both claws on the opposite side to complete separation. Remove No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer by completely releasing the two claws which disconnect it from the front bumper.
