The initial step towards servicing the generator requires users to remove the drive belt by loosening the pivot bolt, adjusting lock bolt, and adjusting bolt according to these torque standards: Pivot bolt at 56 Nm (570 kg.cm, 41 ft.lb) and Lock bolt at 18 Nm (180 kg.cm, 13 ft.lb). First disconnect the generator connector before removing the nut to disconnect the generator wire and separating the wire harness from its clip. Remove the generator unit together with its accompanying components starting from pivot bolt and plate washer followed by adjusting lock bolt. The reverse procedure used for removal completes installation.

Apply a torque of 52 Nm (530 kg.cm, 38 ft.lb) for the pivot bolt.

It involves removing the wire clamp from the wire clip on the rectifier end frame, disconnecting the generator connector, and then removing the rubber cap and nut to disconnect the generator wire.

For installation, follow the reverse order of removal.
