Radiator Assembly

Your first step when removing the radiator will be to remove both No. 1 engine under cover along with the No. 2 engine under cover. Remove the engine coolant first before removing the duct seal on the cool air intake along with the inlet air cleaner assembly. The next step requires removal of radiator grille protector followed by taking off the radiator grille. Separate both the low pitched and high pitched horn assemblies from their installation points. Take out the hood lock assembly from the vehicle optionally together with or without the engine hood courtesy switch. Unplug the outlet reserve tank hose from the radiator before disconnecting both No. 1 and No. 2 radiator hoses. The technician disconnects both hoses which transport No. 1 oil cooler fluid from the inlet and outlet of the radiator. The first step for upper radiator support removal involves disconnecting the hood lock control cable clamp followed by removing 5 bolts. You can separate the cooler condenser assembly through the removal of its 4 bolts. The procedure ends by removing the radiator assembly along with the fan assembly with motor by disconnecting both wire harness clamps and 2 connectors while avoiding excessive force against the cooler condenser assembly or pipe. Pull up the fan assembly with motor from the radiator assembly by disconnecting the 3 snap fits under the guidance of the 2 guides after removing the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 lower radiator supports.

Install the radiator support upper using 5 bolts, torqued to 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf).

Remove the front bumper assembly with or without fog lights, and then take out the front bumper energy absorber.

Begin by installing the 2 radiator support lowers to the radiator assembly, followed by the 2 radiator support cushions.

Install the hose with the bolt and 2 clips at a torque of 15 Nm (150 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf).

Add coolant for the inverter and inspect for any coolant leaks related to the inverter.

Remove the bolt, 2 clips, and hose from the radiator assembly, following the same removal procedure as the upper tank.

Install the upper radiator support with 5 bolts and connect the hood lock control cable clamp to it, applying a torque of 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf).
