    Q:
How to remove and replace the power steering pump on Toyota Avalon? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before removal of a power steering pump users need to avoid using excessive force on the vise while the indicated components should receive a power steering fluid coating following installation steps with attention given to prevent V belt fluid contact. Begin at the right-hand side front wheel by removing it followed by power steering fluid drainage. Begin by first removing the front fender apron seal from the right side then take away the fan together with generator V belt. First remove the clip to disconnect the oil reservoir to pump hose No.1 and afterward separate the pressure feed tube assembly by taking out the union bolt and disassembling the assembly clamp before removing the gasket from the assembly. To complete the operation disconnect the power steering oil pressure switch connector before taking out the vane pump assembly by removing its two bolts.
