Assemble the windshield wiper motor by applying 3 bolts that require 5.4 Nm of torque before moving the crank arm to the specified position and applying MP grease to the pivot. Attach the No. 2 windshield wiper link rod to the prominent point of the windshield wiper motor assembly base. The windshield wiper motor and link assembly needs 4 bolts tightened first to 77 kgf-cm (7.5 Nm) using the specified sequence followed by connector connection. Position the 4 claws of the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly and fasten it using 2 clips. Insert the claw into both front fender to cowl side seal locations before securing their right and left assemblies. Before attaching the wiper arm and blade assembly LH at the front position, you need to operate the wiper and position the windshield wiper motor precisely. Then clean the wiper arm serrations and wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush before fastening them with a nut tightened to 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf) while securely gripping the arm hinge. Rephrase the installation of the RH wiper arm and blade assembly after you test the LH component correctly works by moving the wipers during washer fluid spraying.

The first step to remove the front wiper motor starts by taking off the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH through nut removal. You should also take out the front wiper arm and blade assembly RH after removing its corresponding nut. You must disengage the claw tool to remove first the front fender to cowl side seal LH then the front fender to cowl side seal RH. Detaching the 2 clips and disengaging the 4 claws is necessary to take off the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly. Dismantle the connector then detach the 4 bolts which secure the windshield wiper motor and link assembly. Separate the No. 2 windshield wiper link rod from the front wiper motor assembly crank arm pivot point using a screwdriver tip that needs taping first then follow the indicated crank arm procedure to detach the windshield wiper motor assembly from the link assembly with 3 bolts removed.

Move the crank arm as indicated and remove the 3 bolts to detach the windshield wiper motor assembly from the windshield wiper link assembly.

Disengage the claw and remove the front fender to cowl side seal LH, followed by the front fender to cowl side seal RH.

Engage the 4 claws to install it and secure it with 2 clips.

Operate the wiper to stop the windshield wiper motor at the automatic stop position, clean the wiper arm serrations, clean the wiper pivot serrations, and install the assembly with the nut, torqued to 20 N.m.
