The first step of control assembly service and repair requires pulling heat control knobs out while using a screwdriver to remove the heater control name plate after releasing 4 screws. You should start by removing the A/C switch through the removal of its 4 screws located on the heater control name plate. The blower speed control switch requires users to start by removing the 2 bulbs then disconnecting the 2 bulb holders and thereafter removing its 2 screws. A screwdriver helps to open cable clamp claws which enable disconnecting the outer cables of the heater controls. Secure the screwdriver tip with tape before proceeding to remove inner cables from the A/C control assembly. The A/C control assembly receives the inner cables during reinstallation followed by the connection of outer cables. Reinstall the blower speed control switch with 2 screws while connecting 2 bulb holders followed by properly inserting the 2 bulbs. The installation process requires the A/C switch to be placed onto the heater control name plate along with the heater control name plate and completion with pushing in both heater control knobs.

Reinstall the lower panel, cowl side trim RH, and finally the front door scuff plate RH.

First, remove the cowl side trims, front door scuff plates, lower finish panel, lower insert panel, center cluster finish panel, heater to resistor No.2 duct, lower panel, rear console box, shifting hole bezel, and finish lower center panel.

Begin by pulling out the heater control knobs and removing the heater control name plate by releasing the 4 clews.
