Upper Control Arm, Passenger Side

An intermediate stage requires installing the LH side rear upper control arm assembly together with 2 washers by using 2 bolts and 2 nuts. Position the rear wheels before tightening them to 131 Nm (1336 kgf-cm, 97 ft-lbf), then lower the vehicle gradually while pressing it down several times before removing the rear wheels. Finally tighten the 2 nuts on the rear upper control arm assembly to 150 Nm (1530 kgf-cm, 111 ft-lbf). Tighten both rear upper control arm assembly nuts using torque of 150 Nm while measuring 1530 kgf-cm or 111 ft-lbf. Srapon the rear stabilizer control tube insulator in place through its 2 portal bolts which require a torque setting of 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf). Complete by connecting the speed sensor wire harness with a bolt which needs 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf) torque. Install the rear wheel onto the vehicle before securing it with a torque of 131 Nm (1336 kgf-cm, 97 ft-lbf). After measuring vehicle height operators need to close the stabilizer control by actuating the accumulator housing shutter valve and then install the stabilizer control valve protector.

Open the stabilizer control with the accumulator housing shutter valve.

Connect it with the bolt torqued to 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf).
