Front Pipe

The installation of the 2AZ-FE engine exhaust pipe starts with front exhaust pipe No. 1 support bracket installation through 2 nuts with proper orientation followed by 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf) torque. The installation process includes fitting the heated oxygen sensor after it. After putting a new gasket on the front exhaust pipe assembly install 2 nuts while torquing them to 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf). Afterward, fasten the front exhaust pipe No. 1 support bracket using 2 nuts which require 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf) torque. The front exhaust pipe requires installation of a new gasket followed by attachment with two bolts and two nuts that should be torqued at 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf). First install the front exhaust pipe against the tail pipe assembly and attach it using 2 nuts which require a torque of 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf). Inspect exhaust gas leaks while performing necessary repairs of damaged parts to achieve proper leak prevention.

Attach the front exhaust pipe No. 1 support bracket with 2 nuts, also torqued to 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf).

Start with the rear exhaust pipe No. 1 support bracket, securing it with the 2 bolts to a torque of 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft. lbs.), ensuring the bracket is oriented correctly.

Next, remove the center exhaust pipe assembly by taking out the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, followed by removing the gasket from the front exhaust pipe.
