The front brake caliper service and repair procedure begins by removing the front wheel followed by draining brake fluid before immediate washing of painted surfaces that get in contact. The first step requires disc brake cylinder assembly LH removal by disconnecting both flexible hose and union bolt/gasket followed by two bolts securing the disc brake cylinder sub-assembly. The disc brake cylinder assembly LH should be placed in position and secured with two bolts that reach 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft. lbs.) torque value. Install the front flexible hose onto the union bolt through its new gasket before tightening the bolt to 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft. lbs.). The flexible hose lock should be placed securely within the disc brake cylinder sub-assembly lock hole. Begin by adding fluid into the reservoir after which you should perform a bleeding procedure on the master cylinder and brake line and brake actuator assembly. Following the check of the reservoir fluid level and brake fluid inspection for leakage you must reinstall the front wheel with a torque setting of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.).

Check bearing play and axle hub runout, adjusting or grinding the disc as needed.
