HVAC condenser servicing demands the first step to involve draining refrigerant from the refrigeration system along with vacuum removal of air. Refrigerant charging involves leak inspection while using the stated amount of 530 plus or minus 50 g (18.69 plus or minus 1.76 oz.) for Double Cab yet 600 plus or minus 50 g (21.16 plus or minus 1.76 oz.) for all other models. The service of the 2UZ-FE engine requires removing the A/T oil cooler along with the horn, hood lock, center brace, and receiver and holder. The liquid tube and discharge hose must be detached from Double Cab by removing the 2 bolts while disconnecting both components and tightening the bolts to 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf). Seal all open system fittings immediately to stop moisture or dirt entry into the system. Analyze two new O-rings with compressor oil before installing them onto the tubes. The condenser removal process starts with unbolting the lower brackets and removing 2 bolts before unbolting upper brackets and 4 bolts respectively and finally pulling the condenser forward and upwards. The application of compressor oil should include 40 - 50 cc (1.4 - 1.7 fl.oz.) of ND-OIL 8 or a compatible equivalent to the compressor system. It is essential to reverse the steps taken during removal during the installation process.

Lubricate 2 new O-rings with compressor oil before installing them onto the tubes.

Add 40 - 50 cc (1.4 - 1.7 fl.oz.) of ND-OIL 8 or equivalent compressor oil.
