The service of the Evaporative Emission Control Canister requires initial removal of the fuel tank assembly followed by separation of the charcoal canister assembly through connector disconnection by pushing the fuel tank vent hose deeply inside while pinching portion A to extract the connector. Service begins with disconnecting the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly from the charcoal canister by using the same method and proceeding to disconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector together with the wire harness clamp and the purge line hose from the charcoal canister. To finish the process, uninstall the 2 bolts, remove the clip and disconnect the charcoal canister. To install the charcoal canister assembly put the 2 bolts and clip in place before tightening them to 39 N.m (398 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf). The installation requires connection of a purge line hose and a wire harness clamp to other components that include the vapor pressure sensor connector, charcoal canister filter sub-assembly, and fuel tank vent hose to the charcoal canister. Check exhaust gas leaks after installing both the fuel tank assembly.

Connect the purge line hose, wire harness clamp, vapor pressure sensor connector, and the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts, clip, and charcoal canister.

Connect the purge line hose, wire harness clamp, vapor pressure sensor connector, and the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly to the charcoal canister.
