Start the Parking Brake Cable Assembly No. 4 replacement by unfastening the 2 bolts holding the console panel upper rear, console box carpet, and rear console box. The procedure involves eliminating the yawrate sensor (with VSC) and after that the parking brake cable assembly No. 4 through turnbuckle tightening followed by disconnecting from parking brake cable assembly No. 1 and parking brake equalizer before removing the 2 bolts. Install and secure the new parking brake cable assembly No. 4 by tightening the 2 bolts to 12.5 Nm (128 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) before connecting it to the parking brake equalizer followed by turnbuckle tightening to join it with parking brake cable assembly No. 1 using a torque of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.). The technician must reinstall the yawrate sensor alongside VSC and then fasten the 2 bolts at 12.5 Nm (128 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) onto the console box mounting bracket No. 2. Afterwards the technician installs the rear console box followed by placing the console box carpet and completing the installation with the console panel upper rear. Check and readjust the parking brake pedal movement then execute a calibration process for the yawrate sensor with VSC enabled.

Adjust the parking brake shoe clearance, install the rear disc brake caliper assy LH with 2 bolts, torquing to 47 Nm (480 kgf-cm, 35 ft. lbs.), and finally reinstall the rear wheel, torquing to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.).

Reinstall the rear wheel (torque: 103 Nm).
